Street Champions Meeting - Guest Speaker Luke Conod

On Monday 11th November all BID members are invited to attend a Street Champions meeting, at the Town Hall; a short and informative meeting to provide support for our members. This is a chance to network, tell us what issues are of a concern and update you on the projects we are delivering including trading data such as footfall. Whether you have an idea, or simply want to update yourself (and represent neighbouring businesses) on the work of the Hereford Business Improvement District.

This months meeting we welcome guest speaker Luke Conod, one of Hereford's most notable entrepreneurs. As ex-president and current member of City of Hereford Rotary Club, Luke has a wealth of connections and respect within the local business community. As well as keeping busy running two city centre businesses; FIT and The School Uniform Shop, Luke has travelled around the world supporting charities. He always has a refreshing, new, innovative idea ready to release into the business world, we caught up with Luke ahead of the meeting to ask "Why would I want to be a Rotarian?"

Luke tells us "Being a Rotarian has helped me build my business, make fantastic new friends, given me the opportunity to travel all over the world and give something back to society."

At the meeting on the 11th, Luke will introduce Nick Tecza, next year's President of City of Hereford Rotary Club and will talk to the group about how Rotary has made a difference in their lives and allowed them to make a difference to the lives of others. They invite the group to ask any questions they might have about Hereford Rotary Club and to invite you to one of the future Rotary meetings to see if it's for you.

If you have any questions for Luke ahead of next months meeting you can contact Luke on 07810 008 318 or email
